Comments & Suggestions edit
I took the liberty of updating the newsletter to the 15th April one :-)
One suggestion, on the definition of stubkilling, I think you're being a bit harsh including all the crappy Low stubs that we really don't much care about. To me, I work on 'diagonals' of the table on the WP home page.
- Thus the top priority was to convert all the Top Stubs to Top Starts.
- Once that was done, the second priority becomes to convert Top Starts to Top B's and equally to convert High Stubs to High Starts.
- The third priority is then Top B -> Top GA, High Start -> High B and Mid Stub -> Mid Start
And so on. That implies that the best measure of how we are doing, given that we are currently in the middle of the second stage, is
- ( (number of Top Starts) + (number of High Stubs) ) / (number of Tops + number of Highs)
Once we've squished all those High Stubs and Top Starts, then we start a new measure that includes Top B's, High Starts and Mid Stubs.
just an idea, anyhow - it's just a more visible measure of progress, and it takes more account of us progressing with the more important articles in the project FlagSteward 17:43, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
