White House Astronomy Night edit

I've created a new article on White House Astronomy Night.

Suggestions for additional WP:RS sources would be appreciated, at Talk:White House Astronomy Night.

Thank you,

ExxonMobil edit

After the Paris accords and the XL pipeline demise, perhaps one of the biggest environmental stories of 2015 was the torrent of investigative journalism revealing what ExxonMobil and other oil firms knew and when they knew it. The history of climate change over the last few decades was re-written this summer.

An effort to begin first steps toward updating our project to reflect these highly significant developments in copious reliable sources is being frustrated at ExxonMobil. From 2008 until last week, ExxonMobil included a subtopic of several paragraphs entitled "Funding of climate change skepticism" in the "Environmental record" section. Last week, two of our colleagues teamed up to move the subtopic en mass to the "Criticisms" section, and re-heading it "Attitudes toward global warming."

Respectfully request additional eyes and additional participation of project members at ExxonMobil. Thank you and happy new year! Hugh (talk) 22:45, 31 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

General Motors edit

You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:General Motors#Support of climate disinformation. The Environmental record section of article General Motors was section blanked 11 January 2016, leaving only extraordinarily non-neutral coverage. More recently the same editor is edit warring to delete a concise summarization of multiple reliable sources from the article 19:51 26 March 2017, 19:45 27 March 2017 and to delete the project/task force template from the talk page 20:09 26 March 2017, 19:46 27 March 2017. Thank you. 54.68.191.249 (talk) 16:00, 4 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

RFC notice edit

Hey WP:ENVIRONMENT!

There's an RFC regarding the origin of the word mottainai, which is Japanese in origin but has apparently been used by environmentalists since the mid-2000s. Please see Talk:Mottainai#RFC on Yuriko Sato citation.

Kind regards,

A new briefing book/report/post which might help ensure that environmental records are represented accurately? edit

So, I was looking through the WikiProjects today and I came across this task force. There's a newish briefing book/report/post I read today which focuses on Pentagon push to exclude military operations from the Kyoto Protocol and responses of State Department diplomats. I think it could be relevant enough to add into articles on here, but I'd like your thoughts before I begin to do so, as I think the content could help improve many pages on here, although I'm exactly sure which pages. That's why I'm posting here and thought it could be of interest to this task force. Historyday01 (talk) 22:04, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
