Disputed Sources edit

  • ISCC-NBS Dictionary of Colo(u)r Names--1955 This source does not appear to give color coordinates. I do not feel the use of a digital color meter is apropos. Further more this source is copyrighted and there has been discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Color which suggest using such sources is may be problematic. • Xona.com Color List This source appears to be a combination of several sources. It would probably be best to reference the original source directly. Some of the colors used are Copyright Resene Paints, so may also have the same issue as referenced above. PaleAqua 06:29, 9 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Colors to be M&P sourced edit

Temporary sources for colors to be sourced Maerz and Paul can include ISCc NBS, Xona.com, BEHR, Corel Photopaint 8, Sherwin Williams, etc. Ssjhowarthisawesome (talk) 23:46, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Diisputed title edit

Errerous. The terminus technicus colour coordinate must not be used for sRGB data. It is valid only in case of standardised CIE coordinate system as e.g. CIE. Plese see the chromacity coordinate. ZJ (talk) 18:42, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

"Color coordinate" is a generic term for a numerical position in a color space. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Color/Normalized Color Coordinates for some examples. --{{u|Mark viking}} {Talk} 19:15, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
