Expand the task force edit

Editors, we need to expand the guidelines section so everyone will know how BBUK articles are structured from various results of discussions that have taken place. Also I am proposing that Big Brother 1 (U.S.) be a joint article between the UK task force and the USA task force since BB1 USA followed a similar format to the UK version and would be more beneficial to the article. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 23:54, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would say the order of the BBUK09 article, the summary not in a table, the totals not being in a separate table, the rating being in prose and the balanced reception section should be used as an example for the other BBUK articles, and adapted to the US articles. Articles that we could get up to GA edit

The main focus whilst editing the Big Brother 2009 (UK) article this summer is to get it to a standard so we can try to achieve Good Article status. Looking through the articles that are in the scope of this task force, I feel that we could be able to get the following, with a little TLC, up to this level also. Thoughts? DJ 13:18, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

How far do you think this article is away from being considered B-class? As far as I can see it meets the criteria but obviously can't cover the whole of the series until it has actually ended. MegaPedant (talk) 13:49, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
In my eyes, it's basically there. But as you say, as the series hasn't finished we can't techically class it as a B. If the programme was to finish tommorow, I really do think that it would almost automatically become a B-class article. DJ 20:41, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

[The Housemate list articles will be easy to get up to scratch as they only focus on the participants, not the ins-and-outs of the programme itself, and will therefore be a bit of an easy ride (especially as the earlier series have companion books that we can use as sources)]

Involvement with WP:BIGBRO and task forces edit

Hi editors last year there were several discussions that affected not only the American/British articles but overall Big Brother articles including the UK/USA articles. If possible can we try to have these types of discussions on the main WP:BIGBRO project page and/or the task force pages? It would be nice if we could keep discussions regarding major changes on the task force discussion page and larger discussions to the overall project page. Some editors took offense at these types of discussions being regulated to the then-current season/series articles while some attacked other articles for bringing the project down. Last year with a consensus task forces for two of the largest versions of Big Brother were created (UK task force & USA task force) to handle the respective differences between the two and other versions. If we utilize the project talk page and the respective task force talk page we can collaborate more efficiently and really improve the overall project and avoid the bashing that happened last year. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 10:23, 9 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
