Terminologia Anatomica

edit

I will be typing out some of the more important structures in the TA, in the order specified by the stardard. Anyone can add anything, but I ask that you consult the TA (available at Amazon, perhaps online somewhere, but I haven't found it there yet.) --Mauvila 23:03, 29 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The big list (TA) is very incomplete. There are many major terms/structures I skip over, some on purpose, some on accident.

Please help establish links, etc. on this page. Not every item in the list needs an article. Some items are ambiguous (e.g. flexor digiti minimi brevis - hand or foot?).

Feel free to add something to the big list, but if you don't have access to a TA (and thus don't know its position or standard term), then guess where you think it goes and put '[UNSORTED]' before it, letting those with access to a TA easily find it and sort it. --Mauvila 07:00, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Status of articles in TA list

edit

Comments on status of articles can be placed in brackets after the structure. e.g. 'Petrotympanic fissure [NEEDS MAJOR WORK]' --Mauvila 09:11, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Moved/merged Terminologia Anatomica section into encyclopedia

edit

This structured list of anatomical structures is far too valuable to be gathering dust in the closet.

Therefore, I've merged it into the Outline of human anatomy. The Transhumanist 09:31, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
