While most of the discussion of these sets is currently on the subproject page, revisions can be discussed here. Vir 18:58, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Communications category edit

In the culture section, I replaced literature with communications. This was the newest category in exploring this set. Communications is an important very basic socio-cultural category of human experience that fits the top level context well: language and communications. And, literature fits well with the arts, at top level. Vir 18:58, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Geography and history edit

In one way of looking at things, these go together as a type. Trying that here. These two disciplines are holistic. Both are part of humanities and part social science. Geographical and historical methods are also used in sciences. They orient us to the world. They relate to orienting us in our basic dimensions, space and time. I think reference/info science participates in this kind of holism as well. This needs more thought. There is not a good way to label and summarize this category. "Indexical" (which has more than one meaning in this context) is a try, but perhaps not good enough. More work needed. --Vir 05:18, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
