Better name than "blessings"

A better name is definitely needed. Blessings has religious overtones for many people. Approved or endorsed, is better than "blessed". Carcharoth 11:58, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

What defines "experts in each field"?

It seems to me that the cases examined are not sufficient to give a solid idea, as they are only non-contentious subjects. The first paragraph seems to indicate that anyone can give these blessing, contrary to the rest of the article. But restricting them to experts wouldn't make sense. For example, the only blessings on Time Cube would be by Gene Ray. --Philosophus ^T 12:23, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Maybe we can have a central panel that verifies users' credentials. (for example, verifying that a particular user is indeed who he says he is and does indeed have a law PhD from Harvard) Readers could then review the credentials of a review panel and on that basis choose whether or not to trust their blessings. The proposed idea of users "choosing a set of blessings" allows for the possibility of competing review panels who could endorse different versions of the article. You could have an amateur review panel that endorses more frequently, and therefore provides more up-to-date endorsed versions, and a competing expert review panel that would endorse less often but would provide a better guarantee that the article is definitive.--Yannick 15:02, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
