James and Ireland

I've edited the main article on James to correct a number of errors (see the talk page for the full list), but one of them continues to appear in this introduction. It is wrong to say that James made no attempt to recover the throne himself-his campaign in Ireland was the first step towards this end. Rcpaterson 23:31, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
