...why a DS picture? That's not especially informative at all. Why not use the game's boxart? I haven't really read through the fair-use rationale, but surely the cover of a piece of media for purposes of illustration only would be fair game.

In fact, Melee had this same issue when it was featured. Is this the case with all media? When a movie is featured, do we put up pictures of DVD players on the front page? The fair use images, including box art and book covers, can only be used in the article itself. Typically, images of book authors, film directors, and video game designers and whatnot are used to illustrate the article on the main page. Gary King (talk) 15:05, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
