edit- "1992 – The acquittal of policemen who had beaten motorist Rodney King sparked civil unrest in Los Angeles that lasted for six days and killed over 50 people."
It seems to me that if they were aquitted, then it is possible libel to say they did beat him, video evidence notwithstanding. The jury did not find them guilty, so for our purposes, we can't say they did it is a fact, but rather an accusation. Right? Danthemankhan 16:31, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

- @Mar11: Despite it being the 25th anniversary, the article has a {{Refimprove}} tag on it, and per the rules, that makes it ineligible for inclusion. —howcheng {chat} 06:30, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
