Oh, and by the way. When you are linking to other pages on wikipedia, you do not have to use a url. Simply put it in square brackets. For instance, to link to my user page you could type [[User:Dantheman531]] instead of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Dantheman531]. Also, if you type [[User:Dantheman531|blah]], the word "blah" will show up in blue, and will link to my user page. Suggestion for discussion

The three contributions that students need to do next partial (~October) is to significantly edit an article, create a stub and translate an article from English Wikipedia for Spanish Wikipedia. Mentors, if you would be so kind as to look over the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mexico, Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mexico and Category:Mexico_stubs pages to help students discuss and select projects to do in October. Christian Panchana had asked about my experiences at University. Unfortunately, I'm actually finished with my schooling. I currently work at a hospital in the IT department. I am a project manager and consultant so my work varies a great deal from day to day. I remember have a great deal of fun in school and I hope all of your are really enjoying your work on Wikipedia. Let me see what I can remember about college. The admissions process was a little different for me than most because I chose to enter the honors program at a local private college. I had to write several essays and research papers to be considered and then went through an interview process. The interviews were actually a lot of fun after I accidentally managed to thrill the first gentleman I interviewed with. After a long discussion of my learning and extracurricular activities, he finally said "Well, what don't you do?" -- I'm not sure what made me say it, but the only thing I could come up with was "Mud wrestling". The poor old gentleman (he was a literature professor) almost fell out of his chair laughing. The rest of the interviews were a breeze because he told every other professor that story to break the ice for me. He ended up being one of my favorite professors (who else could teach Greek in an English literature class?).

Because of being in the honors program and the majors I had chosen, I had quite a full schedule. I usually had 8 to 10 hours of classes or labs each day. Looking back now, it was nice to get everything over with quickly, but I really didn't have much of a social life. However, I think I've done enough partying since then to make up for it. :) It also let me get to a place in my career that most people, much less women, don't reach at this age.

Anyways, that's what I can think of off the top of my head. I have this page on my watchlist, so if anyone has any other questions or wants to continue the conversation, you're welcome to just post here.

The scholarship program at the school was very competitive. Academically there was one scholarship available which paid for everything and a few others which paid half the tuition for four years; there were only a few athletic scholarships available, mostly in American football and track.

The college is a rather small one, so there were very few international students. Each foreign student had a professor assigned to them as a mentor; the professors made themselves available at just about any time to help the students become acclimated. Aside from that, it was a rather small town, so the community was generally very friendly and helpful to all the college students.

Universities in Denmark

Hi Chris.

This is an answer to your request on my user talk page. You asked me to tell about my university. I've attended two different universities: University of Copenhagen and University of Aarhus. In Copenhagen I studied Actuarial sciences in the period 1990 - 1997 with some years spend working and beeing in the Army where I didn't study. I never did finish my studies to become an actuary in stead I started working at Denmark's largest phone-company.

I'm presently employed at IBM and am attending part time studies in Computer Science at the University of Aarhus.

It has been so long since I attended at Copenhagen, that I won't write about that. I will however try to write a little about the University of Aarhus. You asked me to describe the teachers, the students life, and lots more.

As I'm now old (38 years) and married and am only studying part time I'm not your average college student.

I don't participate in the student life but I know from some of my friends who are full time students, that there are lots of parties, musical event, sports and other things going on in connection to the university - You may get a glimpse of some of that here: http://www.studenterhusaarhus.dk/?q=en/node/161.

The teachers at computer science are really good. They are all Phd.s or MS and are very interested in their line of study.

Well, a template is a kind of page that you can place in another page. I'm not completely sure of how to describe it. For instance {{db-bio}} is a template. You can put the text {{db-bio}} on a page and that box will be added to that page. I would be more than happy to help you with grammar and punctuation. Some people might say that I am a punctuation stickler. I hate bad punctuation and grammar, so I can help you out with that. Simply tell me what article you wish to create, and I'll help you out; though I gather that your assignment is mostly to write the article yourself. As far as university experience goes, I can't help you. I am 18 years old, and am a senior in my high school. Finally, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember to put ~~~~ after every comment that you leave on a talk page, and do not leave external links to enwiki pages.
