FA goal edit

Howdy! I found this group while browsing the list of school and university projects. I am a former student who has a lot of experience getting articles to Featured article status. If any of you have questions on how to get your article to FA status (what does FA mean, how does the process work, what changes does my article need to get ready for an FA nomination, etc), please ask me on my talk page or post a message at WikiProject Texas A&M, where there are others with FA experience. I know nothing about the topics you're working on, but I can help out with Wikipedia-specific guidelines and processes, and I can help identify other WP users who might be able to fill specific roles like copyediting. Good luck on your projects! Karanacs (talk) 19:25, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the FA goal is a little too high. Extra credits should be given instead for achieveing WP:GA (Good article) status. Shyamal (talk) 02:44, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Current" or "Future" sections edit

The requirement to have this type of section seems to pose a problem for sourcing. If a piece of research has not been published, then it is unverifiable. From skimming several of the project's articles, it looks like many students have used this section for unsourced speculation. --Gimme danger (talk) 12:28, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
