Refusal to get the point: is it incivility? edit

In response to Toddst1's dubious tagging.

I suppose it depends on whether or not they are refusing to get the point in bad faith or good faith. I find it is more often done in bad faith, and therefore qualifies as incivility. But there are cases where it is not done in bad faith and therefore technically may not be classified as incivility. Regardless, I think it should remain because it is something that comes close to breaking civility policy, and is best responded to the way this essay lays out. ––FormalDude talk 04:15, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

At the end of the day it's your essay. Just trying to help make it stronger. Thanks for the response. Toddst1 (talk) 04:19, 17 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Toddst1: I appreciate your feedback and trying to help make it stronger. It is my essay, but I'm not in any way trying to WP:OWN it, I'd much rather have it become a strong community essay. If you still think it's best to remove it I'm fine with that. ––FormalDude talk 02:13, 19 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
