Thank you for agreeing to mediation and showing trust in me. Agreeing to work towards a solution is a positive step towards resolving the dispute. First, we should choose how we will handle the mediation.

Public mediation

• + A central place to watch in a familiar environment.
• - Public venue which may be watched by involved parties.

Private wiki

• + Private and confidential mediation
• + Hosted on MedCom's private offsite wiki.
• - Requires registration on the offsite wiki.
• - Another site to check, in addition to Wikipedia.

IRC mediation

• + Real-time discussion without delays between replies.
• + Can be used in combination with another venue.
• - Scheduling can be difficult.
• - Sometimes off-the-cuff comments can be a bit harsh.
