Suggestion for mediation edit

I have a suggestion. Rate it on a scale of 1-10:

The only thing involved is that Copperchair just leave. If leaving is out of the question, then acknowledge that you aren't God. We shouldn't have to go through with this in order to get rid of a bad user. There is no argument that Copperchair has done nothing but cause problems both with the process of Wikipedia and the Star Wars articles. Copperchair has a complete disregard for anyone's opinions. I suggest Ed not take Copperchair seriously. The best mediation would be to keep him away from Wikipedia. However, since that is not an option, the next best choice is to set the consensuses gathered in stone. Copperchair won't take it sitting down, so the best bet is to make him. - A Link to the Past (talk) 07:15, 10 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

It's my understanding that RfM is not the forum for this sort of administrative action. A better solution would be a Request for Arbitration, which will be my next step if the RfC fails to achieve anything constructive. The Arbitration Committee seems to have a very good track record in terms of getting results.--chris.lawson 23:12, 10 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Well, could you set it up? I'm not adept in setting up these kinds of things. - A Link to the Past (talk) 00:00, 11 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem. I'm going to give the RfC another week and if nothing has been achieved by that point, I'll file an RfAr.--chris.lawson 04:51, 11 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
