I think we could drop this section, the current eventsis already in the hatnote and I think the main page has a good 'in the news' pane. Let's drop the section leaving the page more clearly 'news about wikipedia+othe projects' ? Lee∴V (talk • contribs) 18:13, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

@200.223.199.146: What feed URL are you using? You could try generating one with http://tools.wmflabs.org/mediawiki-feeds/ although last time I tried that there were some issues with early Signpost articles not having proper headers and so being included under the wrong date in the RSS feed.
