This is great! edit

I was looking for our policy set on tone and attitude because I want to promote the idea of using positive communication and avoiding negative communication. There are some older wiki articles and wiki internal policies on this, but not quite what I wanted. Hyacinth I think some of what you are sharing here are ideas which are getting new circulation and could be part of an update to lots of other policies, including Wikipedia:Civility. I like that this essay identifies an unwanted systemic bias in Wikipedia to make contributors often the target of negative feedback and less often the target of positive feedback.
