Hello, and thanks for organizing this. I am considering participating remotely. Is it open to non-MIT people and non-beginners? If so: Can you recommend sources on various topics in the history of technology that are arranged both chronologically and by city, and also (preferably) freely available on the open web? (like this or this, applied here, here, and here). I would be grateful for any leads. Thank you. -- M2545 (talk) 15:37, 8 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, you can definitely participate remotely and it is open to everyone! Some quick resources I found include a list of websites that might have the type of info you are looking for from the Library of Congress and a timeline of vacuum science and technology on the AVS website. Here is a link to the Victorian Web science and technology timeline. I hope that helps! Gkuriger (talk) 16:28, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thank you!! Great links! Next question: Will you have an event template (something like this one)?-- M2545 (talk) 17:06, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
No we won't have an event template. Gkuriger (talk) 13:45, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
