This is my favourite one so far. My only suggestion is to move "Overview • Editing • Questions • Help" into the "Welcome to Wikipedia" box. –thedemonhog talkedits 23:53, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the type proposal I was hoping to see; something radically different from the current setup. Well done! --XRK 00:03, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank's, but I can't take credit for this. It originated with the brilliant Italian Wikipedia editor it:Utente:Hill. I just ported it here.- Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 00:49, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
I think this would be excellent without the gradient fill on the "Welcome to Wikipedia" box. It looks kind of ugly on the Italian page. But either way, I like it and I think it would be a great change, regardless of the fact that it's already used on the Italian Wikipedia. Most English-speaking users don't go to the Italian Wiki, so I don't think they'll notice. ;) — FatalError 02:48, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Best design I've seen so far. --Calibas (talk) 04:06, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Shockingly easy to read. (What a great concept.) Thanks! —SusanLesch (talk) 10:53, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Difficult to read, unfortunately. The page is about 20% wider than my (low-res) screen, requiring side-to-side scrolling to see the whole of the Picture of the Day. Also, the text inside the Sister Projects box overlaps the edge of the box, stretching off the screen, and overlying the box border. Anaxial (talk) 21:50, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
