Wikipedia talk:List of resysopped users

Purpose?

It's unclear to me what the purpose of this page is. The current introduction reads:

This is a list of users resysopped by bureaucrats. It is based on log summaries and therefore may be inaccurate. It will generally not include entries before 2007, given the log system's limitations and the difficulty reconciling with WP:CRATLOG.

I guess the perceived need for it is that rationales for resysopping can vary and it's useful to have an inventory? (I also don't understand what changed in 2007.)

User:Youreallycan wanted a list of all prior resysoppings and I decided to provide it. Prior to August 2007, crats did not provide descriptive userrights' summaries, so it is difficult to tell which entries are initial sysoppings and which are resysoppings. Further, some sysoppings were done before the invention of the logs in 2004 and some are recorded in WP:CRATLOG, making it difficult to reconcile resysoppings with Special:Log/rights.
