Wikipedia talk:Interface changes

Nice. This could benefit from a section more clearly suggesting how to do things smoothly. I've seen similar essays that could be merged into that sort of guideline - perhaps on the talk page of one of the controversial RfC's? - but can't find them at the moment. – SJ + 15:30, 22 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Categories

edit

When I log in on Desktop, I cannot view or edit categories. I would prefer to add a page to a category, for example, when logged in so that if I make a mistake, I can more easily understand the mistake and learn from it. This is also true for the Mobile App, I cannot view categories on a particular page in the Mobile App or Mobile Web interface, even though I have it selected in my Preferences. Please advise how to overcome this limitation, as Categories are very important to how I use Wikipedia. Thank you. why is there a weird mobile-like drop-down menu in the new version anyway? most of the time there is just empty space where it would be that is not used by anything else anyway. it feels odd to do that, alongside making everything just kinda... narrow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.22.1.25 (talk) 00:04, 22 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

yes please un***k it. having the toc scroll down alongside the page is also extremely obnoxious. --85.23.158.110 (talk) 08:56, 22 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
