Two noms in one day for same main editor

edit

@Nikkimaria, Hog Farm, George Ho, and MONGO:.

HF put this FAR up before George Ho put up Mongo's Redwood National and State Parks, which MONGO indicated he is working on. MONGO just got two FARs in one day. Even though HF's Yellowstone was put up first, could we put it on hold if MONGO intends to work first on George Ho's Redwood FAR? MONGO, what is your preference? I have emailed MONGO, who hasn't edited since 21 December (I last heard from him in June). SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:05, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, let's see which one MONGO wants to work on first and then put the other on hiatus. Hog Farm Talk 18:24, 5 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Should we just go ahead and preemptively put this one on hold? Hog Farm Talk 14:09, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have had no response from MONGO. This is why @FAR coordinators: get the big bucks. I'd suggest waiting a wee bit more, but not up to me. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:49, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Given that MONGO is unfortunately inactive I'm inclined to keep both open, at least for the moment. Should that change in future a hold or additional time could be provided. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:59, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Happy to go either way (hold one or keep both open. If work happens we can leav open for an extended period Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:09, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • I didnt bring Yellowstone NP to featured article level so someone else can worry about this. Not sure I see the point in saving anything that gets listed at FAR. The last time this happened to an older FA I was primary on I spent 6 months and made over 100 edits and triple checked every new ref and it still didnt save it from the axe.--MONGO (talk) 01:16, 24 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
