Wikipedia talk:Education program archive/Consumer Reports/Westchester librarian wiki meetup (June 2015)/Course description

Friday, June 19, 9:30-12 there will be a Wikipedia meetup at Westchester Library System 540 White Plains Road Suite 200. Librarians in Westchester are welcome to join!

If you wish to join, please do the following:

  1. Be ready for fun! No prior Wikipedia experience is expected.
  2. email Katonah Reference <katref@wlsmail.org> and say, "I am going to the June 19 Wikipedia meetup"
  3. Click the "enroll" button at the top left of this page. If you do not have a Wikipedia account, you will be prompted to create one.
  4. Consider coming with information to add to Wikipedia. Bring any nonfiction book, article, or website link to a source of information which you could cite to verify any fact you might add to Wikipedia from that source.

This meetup is a project from Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports is a United States nonprofit organization which seeks to promote public access to information which helps people make decisions in the marketplace.
