Stage One: Prepare

• Subject Assigned (Subject Swap!)
• Google Account
• Google Drive Doc and Share with Comments
• Wikipedia Account
• Join the Class Wikipedia Page
• Look at Samples & Templates
• Wikipedia Tutorial
• Review Similar "Good Entries"

Stage Two: Collect

• Target Libraries List (CUNY, NYPL etc.)
• Copy of the Text (digital or hard-copy)
• Cover Image (first edition if possible)
• Talk to a Reference Librarian
• Author and Illustrator Biographies and Overviews
• Summaries and Websites
• Book Reviews (e.g. NYT Review of Books)
• Academic Articles and Books
• Errata / Franchise (films etc.)

Stage Three: Familiarize and Organize

• Read and Take Notes
• Author and Illustrator Information
• Organize Reviews by Theme
• Organize Academic Responses by Theme

Stage Four: Compose in Google Docs

• Overview
• Plot (for Novels) or Synopsis (for Picture Books)
• Characters (for novels)
