Capitals

edit

@Riley specifically, but since CVUA related I'll put it here... You changed it to read Find a previous application instead of Find a Previous Application. I had it in title case as it was a title... Hmmm. I think it looks a wee bit odd without the caps, but... enlighten me if there's something I'm missing (as there often is)   Theopolisme TALK 17:05, 18 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ahahah sorry, now that I look at it non-capitals is even more ugly.. gaah. Well you said to enlighted you, so "Knock Knock" Cheers, Riley Huntley talk No talkback needed; I'll temporarily watch here. 17:10, 18 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism!

edit

I've coincidentially 'reverted' a Vandal's attempt to vandalize History of WWE from what it looks like on the page history. The user has an anonymous IP username. --Jayemd (talk) 18:15, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposal - introducing an new template for completed applications

edit

I was thinking that it may be worth replacing the currently-used {{already done}} with an {{processed}} tag instead. The reason is if someone who is turned down sees "already done" may make them think they have been accepted. Comments? Mdann52 (talk) 15:29, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I find no evidence of a {{processed}} being a thing. I'm a little confused at this suggestion. (Not that I don't like it). Achowat (talk) 15:35, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I was thinking more along the lines of creating a new tag - I forgot to add that into the above text. Mdann52 (talk) 15:50, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Why not just use Image:U2713.svg for   Resolved? Achowat (talk) 15:55, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Looks good, now just needs support.. Mdann52 (talk) 16:20, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I support the idea of   Resolved -- Cheers, Riley Huntley talk No talkback needed; I'll temporarily watch here. 17:07, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I like it. Dan653 (talk) 17:36, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Currently at User:Mdann52/resolved. Any suggestions on where to put it - template:resolved is already taken. Mdann52 (talk) 18:06, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think Riley built {{resolved1}} for us. Achowat (talk) 18:19, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I was bold and changed the bot to resolved1. Just a FYI. Dan653 (talk) 18:29, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Just finished the /doc page - I think we can say:   Resolved Mdann52 (talk) 19:07, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Why "resolved" rather than a more descriptive phrase, like "Taken by Instructor"? Just, as we are already creating our own special template for this, why not make it as descriptive as possible given the CVUA circumstances? Hmm.. Theopolisme TALK 19:59, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Because the idea is to have one template that can be used for either accepted or rejected students that doesn't make it seem like the candidate is necessarily accepted. Achowat (talk) 20:03, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ah, right. <unclear on the concept> Theopolisme TALK 20:06, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
