Creation note

This was bounced back and forth a bit over several weeks on wikien-l, with a most recent suggestion by User:Redvers that someone just be WP:BOLD and create it. So I did.

Inactive? Historical?

I wonder if we could consider removing this tag on this page. Uncle G regularly refers to it, and apparently does it quite often. I also do it, and though I haven't necessarily called it "AFD patrol" this is a pretty accurate description of what I spend much of my Wikipedia time doing. Simply because there isn't a "member list" and the page hasn't been edited in a while doesn't mean it isn't currently valid. Would anybody object to me removing the tag? Very surprised this isn't more active, since tons of people are involved in this style of patrol. I'm going to temporarily move it to active on the WP:Patrols page and see if people start utilising the new userbox. If people don't adopt it then fair enough, but I suspect they will, and we'll have a stepping off point for future collaboration.
