Extra databases edit

When the set is expanded, could we have London Low Life and Victorian Popular Culture? Philafrenzy (talk) 20:33, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Login issues edit

Anybody else having trouble logging in? It worked for me the first time, but hasn't been working since. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 19:51, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure if this answers the question, but I have found that it is not possible to go from one Adam Matthew database to another, or to have more than one open at a time. I can log on to one of the databases (for example Archives Direct) using the username and password provided to authorized users. However, I can't then go to and access another database (for example China America and the Pacific) in the same browser window, or in another window or tab. The username and password are not accepted.
The solution (or workaround at least) is to quit (not just close) the browser and start it up again. Then you should be able to log on to a different database. This is true for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. I haven't tried other browsers. HazelAB (talk) 01:42, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your response, it's very helpful. Sorry not to have replied sooner. The problem was that whenever I tried to log in, even after quitting and relaunching the browser, it just kept asking for the password again and again, not getting beyond the login page. It's taken me this long to reply because you gave me the idea of trying it in a different browser (I was using Opera), but I kept not getting round to actually trying it. It works fine in Firefox and in Safari. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 20:43, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Andreas Philopater (talk) 20:45, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Good, I'm glad it's working for you now! HazelAB (talk) 19:06, 10 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

New reference tool edit

There is a new Visual Editor reference feature in development called Citoid. It is designed to "auto-fill" references using a URL or DOI. We would really appreciate you testing whether TWL partners' references work in Citoid. Sharing your results will help the developers fix bugs and improve the system. If you have a few minutes, please visit the testing page for simple instructions on how to try this new tool. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:47, 11 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

New Adam Matthew collection - Church Missionary Society Periodicals edit

A new collection is now available through the Wikipedia Library: Church Missionary Society Periodicals. Adam Matthew says: "Given the global relevance of the history of Anglican Missions, and the way in which missionaries were often key agitators and spectators in global history events (such as the abolition of the slave trade), we think this collection may be significant to your editors." New collections and login details edit

Adam Matthew have expanded the partnership to include all 53 of their collections! Editors who currently have access will receive an email with further information, including the new login details (just one login this time!), shortly. Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 18:12, 1 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
