WGS 301 explores selected examples of feminist writing, alongside other forms of cultural production and political activism, from the eighth century to the 1980s, and from various regions of the globe. Very little of what is covered in the course is reflected in the various sections of the Wikipedia series on Feminism; most of the articles in that section barely recognize chronological or geographical diversity.
