- Project Introduction and Article Selection
Students are introduced to the project and to the article options (provided by GSI). The article will be chosen by the students.
- Assignment - Homework for Next Week
- Complete the three trainings below
- Print out the article and critique on it with hand-written notes on the page. Students should give some thought as to which part of the article they are interested in improving.

- Critique Article and Make Teams
- Discuss the culture of Wikipedia, citations, plagiarism.
- During section, students will thoroughly critique the article together with the GSI and outline a plan for fixing it.
- Students are assigned specific tasks (i.e., teams).
- Assignment - Homework for Next Week
- Students start editing the article in teams.
- Complete the two trainings
Week 4

- Team Meetings
- In section: This week focuses on project team meetings. Discussion sections meet so that teams can update each other on what they are doing in order to stay coordinated.
- During lectures: Lecture time has been set aside for team meetings.
(This is the intense week for the project. Teams are to finalize their community agreements with their GSI, coordinate with their team makes, and finish their article edits.)

- Reflect
Project reports, including reflective essay, is to be handed in at the start of section. These will be discussed during section. Survey of project’s effectiveness will be done at the end of section.
