Introduction to using sources as supporting documentation in a college-level research project. Teaches the skills needed to successfully find, evaluate, use, cite, and document information using the library and open web sources. Focus on identifying appropriate sources and proper use of sources.
Goal of Wikipedia project:
On a topic of the student's choice, students will learn how to work with sources in ways that will support completing research projects in other courses. Additionally, students will use our access to and knowledge of valuable scholarly information to improve Wikipedia and make a real-world difference for the millions of people worldwide that use and rely on Wikipedia as a reference work.
