Hello,

by completing this course project you will learn how to be a Wikipedia Editor. Throughout the semester you will work on assignments to train you how to be an editor, you will choose an article to create or improve, and you will have class discussions via Canvas. The article you choose to create or improve should focus on a Cell or Developmental Biologist, preferably female, although some notable male scientists are still missing from Wikipedia. You can also choose a stub or article marked for improvement under the topic of cell or developmental biology, rather than a biography. You should avoid articles that have been updated within the last 2-3 years. Please see the detailed instructions on Canvas.

Have a wonderful, creative semester. Dr. Chapman
