A study of woody plants, to include identification, classification, distinguishing characteristics, habits, ranges and habitats, with emphasis on the southeastern United States.

On Wikipedia, students will expand a undeveloped Wikipedia page (stub) for a woody plant species, discussing the taxonomy, ethnobotany, forestry uses, and cultural impact of the selected species.
