Location and general description of property.—The Wyandotte Terminal Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, owns and operates standard-gauge switching tracks, which are in two separate sections. The first extends from a connection with the line of the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton Railroad Company at Wyandotte, Mich., to the entrance to the Michigan Alkali Company's works No. 2 at Ford City, Mich. The second section extends along Marshall Avenue, Wyandotte, from a connection with the above-named railroad to the entrance of the Michigan Alkali Company's works No. 1. The carrier wholly owns 0.745 mile of road, all of which it uses. It leases 0.064 mile of road from the J. B. Ford Company. It wholly owns and uses 1.222 miles of all tracks and uses but does not own 0.054 mile of all tracks. These tracks consist of first main track and yard tracks and sidings. The carrier is an industrial railroad controlled by the Michigan Alkali Company, the principal industry served, through ownership of its outstanding capital stock. CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated September 19, 1904, under the general laws of the State of Michigan, for the purpose of constructing and operating the property subsequently constructed.

DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY

The property of the carrier was constructed in 1904 by the Michigan Alkali Company. Further details with regard to construction are not obtainable.
