| The WikiProject Seattle Mariners was formed on July 27, 2008, and the Mariners need your help! This project is dedicated to expanding the coverage of the Mariners on Wikipedia, including the history, records, statistics, players, coaches, and any other subject that is related to Seattles best, the Mariners. If you feel that you can make positive contributions to the project, become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion forum.
Goals
The project aims primarily to:
• Create and improve articles whose content is connected to the Seattle Mariners organization.
• Set up consistent structural and graphical layouts for displaying information on these articles.

Parentage
The Seattle Mariners WikiProject was created as an independent WikiProject and a child WikiProject of WikiProject Baseball and WikiProject Washington on July 27, 2008.
The MLB Project's Parent Wikiproject is WikiProject Sports, while the Washington Project's Parent WikiProject is WikiProject United States.
