Welcome to the Genetic engineering task force of WikiProject Genetics, which covers any articles relating to genetic engineering on wikipedia. The aim is to improve and organise the content so it provides useful information for both laypeople and readers with a background in science.

Scope

This taskforce covers all articles focused on genetic engineering. This includes articles relating to:

• CRISPR, biolistics and other methods used in the process of genetic engineering

• Gene therapy

• Regulation of genetic engineering
• Rudolf Jaenisch, Jeffrey M. Smith and other prominent people connected with genetic engineering
• Monsanto, Genentech and other companies involved in genetic engineering
