Freshly forked from battleship, what needs to be done to make this article stands on its own feet? I've had a bit of a go at it but would welcome suggestions, particularly as my brain is currently occupied with the 19th century... The Land 19:48, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Appears to be written from a UK POV such as, "To make matters worse, the Austro-Hungarian Fleet was building 4 Dreadnoughts."
  • Uses some unencyclopedic language like, "The product of British technical superiority and the willpower of Admiral Jackie Fisher"
  • Needs more inline citations, I would suggest at least one per paragraph.
  • The "after WWI" section could probably be expanded since Dreadnought-style battleships were used for diplomacy between the wars and used to some extent during WWII, culminating with Japan building the two largest Dreadnought-style battleships in history. Or were the WWII battleships considered to be of a different class than the Dreadnoughts?

All in all, a great start on the article. CLA 23:36, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
