Description
editAttack the backlog of 50.000 biographies of living people marked as "unreferenced", and reference them.
Given my propensity to act first and think later, I've already created Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons, which contains a lot of links to pages making it obvious to me why we need this. Alvestrand (talk) 17:22, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
edit- Oppose as it would be only a temporaly project. After the BLP problems are solved, the project will become inactive. Armbrust Talk Contribs 00:28, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- That's like saying that once WikiPedia is "done", we'll have no need for editors : ) - jc37 20:36, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion
edit22 people have already signed User:The Wordsmith/BLP sourcing, there are obviously enough here for a wikiproject. Hut 8.5 17:44, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- How would this differ from Wikipedia:WikiProject Living people? -Optigan13 (talk) 09:10, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I think WP:WPLP is attacking all manner of stuff that concerns living people. It would make sense to regard this project as a subproject. (And I would love for the problem to go away, but I suspect it won't....) --Alvestrand (talk) 06:26, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Sounds like a great idea for a workgroup/task force, to me. - jc37 20:36, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
