Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Pirate Movement

Description edit

A Wikiproject that focuses on Pirate Parties internationally, people of importance to the Pirate Movement, and other related pages. The Pirate Movement is a fast growing and widespread political movement. I don't believe the Pirate Movement's scope is purely within Politics either, hence a WP proposal rather than creating a taskforce within WP:Politics. Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
I feel that some of the issues within the Pirate Movement's scope may not fit entirely within the scope of WP:Politics. I think creating a new task force within that group may prove a distraction. It would also seek to avoid confusion of scope with WP:PIRATE, which relates to 'actual' pirates.
