October 12 edit

02:12:52, 12 October 2021 review of submission by FlowerHenry edit

I have re-edited this submission, removing the majority of content that was previously there to ensure it no longer reads like an advertisement. It is now very brief and only contains factual information. I would be grateful if it could please be reviewed again. FlowerHenry (talk) 02:12, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The above draft was re-reviewed and accepted. Curbon7 (talk) 16:05, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I do not understand the comments from the last reviewer? I have provided additional independent references as requested.

Hello I would like help from someone who is an experienced Wikipedia editor how to make my article more suitable for Wikipedia encyclopedia. ( I read some Encyclopedia Britannica articles in the past, and they were just like very good essays, and included they author's name.) My article at present is apparently too much like an essay. If anyone can help, please can you take one sentence from the 'essay' and write it again but in the correct Wikipedia style to give me an example of what I need to do with the rest of the article. Your help will be most appreciated. Best wishes!

10:01:16, 12 October 2021 review of draft by Ckennedy18 edit

Hello, I am hoping to resubmit this draft for review. I have declared a COI on the draft page but a previous reviewer has said I must point to the COI. Not sure what else I need to do. Thanks in advance.

Hans Sachs (talk) 10:01, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Hans Sachs: Thank you for placing the {{connected contributor}} template on Draft talk:Nat Bowen. That's usually the first half of the conflict of interest disclosure, the second being to state on User:Ckennedy18 that you are an acquaintance of Nat Bowen. The guideline says this second step is optional, but it makes the situation clearer, and not doing it is what confused the reviewer. You can make the declaration in text or place {{UserboxCOI|1=Draft:Nat Bowen|text=I am an acquaintance of Nat Bowen.}} on your user page. Then change the otherlinks parameter of the existing connected contributor template to a diff showing you making the declaration on your user page. --Worldbruce (talk) 13:07, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Worldbruce Many thanks for your assistance. I believe I have successfully noted the COI on my user page.Hans Sachs (talk) 17:32, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have just revised the draft on Sebastian Mikosz to include references backing up the statements in the Wiki page. I have used teh International Air Transport (IATA) official press release, and the Financial Times as references. All articles refer directly to Sebastian Mikosz. But the draft was rejected because the sources were considered insufficient. I'm not sure what the correct sources should be.

Astevens888 (talk) 17:27, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Astevens888 Press releases are not acceptable as sources. We need independent reliable sources with significant coverage of this person- not just telling us what he has done. 331dot (talk) 17:31, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
