Hi! I could really use help with my article. I fixed the references by adding footnotes using the citation template. However, my article keeps getting denied. - @Rleighty855: Everything in a biography has to be attributed/cited. This means every fact has to come from a reliable sources. I am requesting a re-review on the basis that the prior reviewer's comments that this article is not notable and is promotion are inaccurate. On the point of notability, plenty of third party (non-press release) sources have have been cited in the article that primarily provide background. These sources including Boston Globe, ATM Marketplace, Yahoo! Finance, Philly Inquirer, Harvard Crimson, etc. On the point of promotion, I focused only on background material that is verifiable and heavily cited throughout the article. Also, I noted my association with the Article on my user's Wikipedia page.

- Yimfinity I would concur with the review. The sources you offer seem to be press releases or routine announcements, which do not establish that your company meets Wikipedia's special definition of a notable company. The sources must offer significant coverage that they themselves have chosen on their own to write, not simply publishing a press release or routine announcement. You also cite a Wikipedia article, which should not be done as Wikipedia is not a reliable source(this promotes circular reasoning). Company representatives usually have a hard time writing about their companies, as it is extremely difficult for the representative to divorce themselves from what they know about their company and what it says about itself. I would like a second opinion regarding my submission for the article: Joshua Brandwood. The references are appropriate with a combination of sources not attached to the person in question. He is notable and should be treated as such. Please can you put this into the main space?

- Wikiwarrior19, the coverage that is there is either not significant coverage (the press release, Lancaster guardian) or not reliable (blogs, the canary). Per WP:POLITICIAN, a councillor isn't presumed to be notable either. ~~ Alex Noble - talk 14:47, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

I was asked to do a short biography on my grandfather on the Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ireland_national_rugby_union_players. His name is listed at number 196 - I followed instructions (with difficulty) attempted uploading photos which were rejected even though they are mine. I now have a notification that the draft has been rejected as not 'adequately supported by reliable sources' What sources do I need? He is already on the Ireland Rugby database.

Can someone help me in getting this article published https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Dan_Shafer. I have been trying and followed direction, but still rejected. There are also song credits on national charts, along with album credits on All Music as a resource, newspaper articles, etc... Not sure if I'm not wording correctly, I would appreciate your help. I would be interested to learn more about the reasoning as to why the subject is not considered notable. The article contains multiple links to third party sources, and the subject is president of a Harvard board, founded and led a major US nonprofit for 30 years (there are other similar leaders with pages on Wikipedia), and has received high-profile awards and honorary degrees. Please help me understand the reasons why this doesn't pass the notability test, and whether any changes (perhaps additional sources?) would help it pass the test and get published.

- BusyBadger, This article still has close paraphrasing at at points outright copyright violations. Further, the article was just deleted per an AfD and its unclear why this person is now notable just months later. Further the article is incredibly biased and promotional instead of the formal, neutral tone expected of a wikipedia article. Sulfurboy (talk) 03:43, 27 February 2020 (UTC)
