I'm wondering why this page is not being published. The producer has credits sited on other wiki pages and has been referenced on an artist' insert that is published on iTunes. Midgeymay (talk) 01:24, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Midgeymay: There are no producer-specific notability guidelines, so he would have to satisfy WP:BIO or WP:GNG to justify having a stand alone article about him in Wikipedia. None of the draft's cited sources contain significant coverage of him. Neither being listed on other wiki pages nor being referenced (by which I take it you mean mentioned briefly) on an artist insert on iTunes is any evidence of notability according to the above guidelines. - @Rahulmehta942: If the musician has not received significant coverage in independent reliable sources, then he is not a suitable topic for a stand alone Wikipedia article, and there is nothing anyone can do to get the draft approved. The created article has been rejected due to notability, sources, and tone issues. I believe the text of the article adequately establishes notability (at the local, regional, and national levels). There are 35 citations to (mostly) secondary sources, which include local and national TV, newspapers, and magazines. No specifics about which passages have a problematic "tone" are offered. I have offered a defense in my talk page and pinged the editor who rejected the entry. More help re. these objections would be appreciated.
Update: I have now made numerous changes to the entry to neutralize language, remove references to content created by the subject, add references to more secondary sources, and include some qualifying language that should help establish notability.--ProfMurphy ProfMurphy (talk) 15:36, 12 January 2018 (UTC) ProfMurphy (talk) 15:36, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

- Can someone please try to communicate with this editor in Chinese and ask them whether they are trying to do something? They have already been warned about disruptive edits that don't really try to be doing anything.
