I have remedied the initial problems with my article "Alistair Fox," which lacked inline sources. The article has been accepted in the category "start class"; however, the article "Alistair Fox" cannot be accessed doing a google search (I assume that it is not indexed). It can be accessed using a Wikipedia search - meaning that once the viewer is "in" Wikipedia, he or she can search and access the article. Am I doing something wrong here or is there a "probation period" for articles before they can be accessed through a google search? I am new to Wikipedia as a writer and would appreciate any "tips" and explanations available.

- Hi Yrarendar. You aren't doing anything wrong. When the article is patrolled (the timing of which you have no control over) it will be released for indexing by search engines. Whether and when search engines actually index it is beyond the control of Wikipedia. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:53, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

editHello! Could you please explain me why my article has not been accepted? I'd like to understand how to improve my draft to get it published. Dorkla (talk) 09:51, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

- Hi Dorkla. The submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in a range of published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the guidelines on the notability of organizations, and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If such sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for inclusion in an encyclopedia at this time.
- Furthermore, the submission reads more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view. If you are able to resolve the notability issue, please also rewrite your submission to comply with this policy. --Worldbruce (talk) 15:13, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

I would like to know what to do to successfully submit the page VisualBash.
Also a video on how to navigate the editing system at Wikipedia would be useful.
Thanks and...
Kindest Regards,
Paul Flint

- Hi Flintiii. Based on a quick search, no amount of editing will make Draft:VisualBash suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, because it does not meet the inclusion criteria for software. I suggest you move on to other topics. Wikipedia:Community portal links to various ways to improve the encyclopedia.
- Wikipedia:Tutorial/Editing is mostly text and pictures, but includes some videos that you may find helpful. --Worldbruce (talk) 15:28, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

i need to know about the reliable source- which one of the article it is not taken from a reliable source?
i used google to find about the subject, once said in a talk page (spanish version) that i should not use youtube for the references sources, but for the television report or tv program that the subject made, mayority of the work was saved in youtube, so i used youtube as sources for the article, is that wrong? thankyou very much --Rafaelsantino (talk) 23:43, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
