I am writing about a deceased jockey who in my opinion should have a wiki page. He won steeple chasing's top two races in same season and only one or two others have achieved that feat in last 200 years
I cannot see what is wrong with my entry. I have removed the word superb race in case people think that is my opinion but it is widely acknowledge in the racing fraternity that he did give rag trade a superb ride. The same horse was ridden by different jockeys in two other grand national attempts and the horse was down the bottom of the field.
If there is any suggestions you have please advice. I am hoping my latest edit will deem the article worthy of submission.
Regards
Julz
- Hello, Julz. Thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I just took a look at your submission and found that it still has an informal tone, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a good copy edit. But after that is done, you will face the much larger problem of having a draft that doesn't contain any references. You need to tell the reader exactly where you got each bit of information in the draft. For more information on how to do this, see WP:REFB. I hope this was helpful. - P.S. You'll also need to be able to demonstrate that the subject satisfies the criteria set forth at WP:NHORSERACING. NewYorkActuary (talk) 13:45, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi. I am new here. I want to know how to post new articles? In sandbox, my previously written article is displayed. Where should I be writing a new article for submission? Where is the options/button to create new article? Why is all this so different from routine posting methods elsewhere?

- Hello, Kireadsalot. Thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I'm a bit puzzled by your question, because you have already submitted your draft twice today and had it declined twice today. And, you have already discussed the matter on the talk page of User:KGirlTrucker81. Is there a specific question that you still have? NewYorkActuary (talk) 18:34, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
@NewyorkActuary Thanks for replying. My article was declined, but my query was not in relation to that. Could you help me out with my present scenario which is, 1) My first article was submitted via sandbox. Now if I got to sand box to create a new article (I wanted to create on Christchurch earthquake),the previous article I had written is still there in Sandbox. Where is the button to create a new article. How do Ido it? PS- Already an informative article on the subject has been written so my Inputs arent necessary there :-) 2) I really find it so different here trying to offer inputs, I tried at Wikipedia Asian Month could not even know where to create New articles.

- Hello again. Sorry about misunderstanding your question. I've gone ahead and created a sub-page for your Sandbox, which I've called "Draft2". You can link to it at User:Kireadsalot/sandbox/Draft2. In the future, you can create these for yourself just by typing in the same name as in the link, but replacing "Draft2" with whatever name you want to call the sub-page. The system will tell you that the page doesn't exist but will then ask you if you want to create it. Answering yes will cause an edit window to open up, with the name of the new sub-page. Happy editing! NewYorkActuary (talk) 07:29, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
@ NewYorkActuary Many thanks. Will go about it shortly. Thanks again.
