edit00:36:27, 30 May 2016 review of submission by OpticalHistorian
editTrying to publish this page about the life work of Dr Anna Estelle Glancy, however the page is continuously rejected. The message I consistently receive is;
"This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject".
I feel I have removed all necessary peacock terms and after reviewing several times, I can not see how the article should be altered in order to meet the Wikipedia standards. Can you provide assistance here and highlight exactly which parts of the article are causing problems, suggesting how they could be changed?

- Hi OpticalHistorian, the second sentence of the lead was loaded with peacockery and even obvious nonsense, it implied that women were actually forbidden to be lens designers and it made a global claim while the sourcing covers only the US. I've fixed it. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 05:35, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
