02:41:06, 31 December 2015 review of submission by Historianmultipleinterests edit

I was asking for more information not a re-review. I understand that Wikipedia does not use Ibid in references but I have used published secondary sources and a few direct quotes from published sources by the subject. Please tell my why they are not satisfactory. I have not expressed any opinion.Historianmultipleinterests (talk) 02:41, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Historianmultipleinterests: The sources are OK. The decline was for the style of writing, which may not be direct enough for ane encyclopedia. Perhaps excessive background is included that is not directly on topic. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:47, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 08:04:37, 31 December 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Billie mansfield edit

I am writing this article because there are some of his paintings I have one an art gallery has one also some have been on ebay. The only time Stenka Razin disappeared was during the six years time and there happened to be a artist at the Solovetsky Monastery during that time.,.

Hello @Billie mansfield:, there isn't any content on your draft page at all. Did you forget to click "Save Page" after you added some material? If you want to write an article about an artist, you need to start with a very clear who-what-why-when-how for a first paragraph, like "John Smith (1893–1924) was a Canadian artist known for his oil paintings of truck engines." something like that. So please begin drafting your article so we have some actual content we can help with (and make sure it has a clear title in bold at the very beginning), and we can proceed from there. Please ensure that any fact you add is clearly cited to a published source like a book or newspaper (see WP:Referencing for beginners for how to code sources). Dear, I creating some tribe sug'rah (their for father link with other triba) QQdratullahkhan (talk) 09:23, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @QQdratullahkhan:, the draft page just has some text that is not in English, and doesn't even appear to really be article material. If you are not a proficient writer in English, I would suggest visiting the Wikipedia for your preferred language(s) and try writing a draft there first, since that way you don't have to struggle with both learning Wikipedia and practicing English at the same time. 20:27:04, 31 December 2015 review of draft by 2601:285:101:9DAF:A96F:9BD6:1FAA:DD89 edit

I'm writing a couple of missing Wikipedia articles through this. I wrote the first one, submitted it for review, and it is now awaiting review, and the process seemed to work fine, and it now says "Review waiting" at the bottom of the draft article. (Draft:Aetiocetidae)

However, when I wrote the second article (Draft:Paleophycology), then attempted to submit it for review, it did not work. It is still saying, "Draft article waiting to be submitted for review."

I've used this process dozens of times since it was implemented, and I've never had a problem submitting an article for review. What am I doing wrong here?

As an aside, I don't understand why my references appear twice.

Thanks for the help.

One reference was missing the closing </ref> tag. That caused the recursive references section within references section problem and evidently also prevented the draft from being submitted cleanly. The draft moved into the queue for review as soon as the closing tag was added. Worldbruce (talk) 07:48, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the help. I debated checking that with a copy paste into Atom or something. I should have gone there. 2601:285:101:9DAF:9065:8794:DC32:1AD7 (talk) 13:33, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
