00:33:24, 25 November 2014 request for review by Gregorysisaacs

Sent a long list of reasons, and links, concerning why my bio should be included, but never heard back. Who ever did the initial review said there were not any links that a google search turned up, which is not true. There are thousands of links to articles I have published and another equally long list of links about my work as a composer. I am even quoted as a source in a number of your entries - one example: Tom_Cipullo

Frankly, I don't care if I am in Wiki or not, but my new professional representation organization wants me there.[ http://novakantoartists.com/] Please advise.

OK Gregory I was the reviewer who rejected the article- way back in June 2013 when I was new- because it had no sources. Since then both you and a wikipedia reviewer have worked on the article, adding several sources but you have never resubmitted it for review! Because you didn't resubmit, no-one ever gave it another assessment. Rankersbo (talk) 10:22, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have checked, and it is not true to say you never heard back from your long list. There is a reply to your message Wikipedia:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation/Help_desk/Archives/2014_November_6#23:27:16.2C_6_November_2014_review_of_submission_by_Gregorysisaacs here. David Clarke 18:20, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

I am seeking to add some pictures and may be audio files but have had difficulties with Wikipedia Commons and uploading my pictures. I have a librarty of image in Photobucket and with to link them directory to an article. Can I do this ?

I also have some audio and video that I have made an would like to us these recording can I do this, ?

David Clarke 18:20, 25 November 2014 (UTC)

Hello David. This is complicated. First, images need to be uploaded onto Commons or Wikipedia in order to be used in a Wikipedia article ... they cannot be used directly from Photobucket. Second, images need to be ones that you own the copyright to, and that you are willing to license freely. So for example if you took a photograph, with your own camera, of a motorbike or a radio set or a person or a landscape or a religious gathering or a musical event, you own that image and therefore you can upload that image to Commons if you are willing to freely license that image. But images of newspaper clippings, or audio recordings of radio shows, or photos taken by a newspaper photographer, are owned by the newspaper company or the radio producers, and therefore cannot usually be uploaded.
Do let us know any specific problems you are having with uploads. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 09:42, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please review to remove the banner? ("This is a misplaced articles for creation submission. If it is not yet ready for article space, please consider moving it to draft space rather than marking it for deletion. Note: If you are not an administrator please tag the redirect left behind after the move for deletion.") Thanks! Howlmouse (talk) 20:09, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've put a more appropriate template on Puzzle Break to replace the one you mention. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 09:02, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried to submit the article, but I think it has not been submitted yet. I pressed the green 'submit' button, but nothing changed. I know that the grey box will stay on the page, since in the box it says that when the article is submitted, the box will not disappear - but it also says that there will be a new small box on the bottom of the page. This box has not appeared on my article. I have tried to submit the page various times within the last 4 days. Nothing changes. It would be great if you could tell me what the problem is, so that I can fix this as soon as possible. Thank you! Oliviamerz123 (talk) 20:20, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Olivia, that draft is now awaiting review. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 09:00, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
