March 15 edit

my recent article on the Frenkel line edit

Dear Wikipedia Colleague

My recent contribution on the Frenkel line was not accepted due to the alleged copyright violation ostensibly related to the presence of similar wording at the following website:

http://www.thomasyoungcentre.org/research-highlights/what-separates-a-liquid-from-a-gas/

I hereby certify that I have myself written the article on the above web link. This link is from the website of the umbrella organization of London Universities who have previously asked me to write about the Frenkel line for their website. I own the description of the Frenkel line as one of the authors of this concept. There is no copyright violation.

Sincerely yours

Kostya Trachenko

Hello. If you wish to allow your content to be used on Wikipedia, the process is documented at donating copyrighted materials. Note, however, that Wikipedia is free content, which means if you wish to allow it on Wikipedia, you must be willing and able to release it under a "free license" that allows anyone to use it with few restrictions. I submitted a subject article several months ago but due to a severe illness could not follow up on the submission. Now, I cannot locate any record of the submission or its disposition. I would like a little help on the matter.

Thank you, Anthony Dias Souza Souzaad (talk) 04:24, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The instructions for recovering the draft are posted on your talk page. It was deleted as abandoned, but getting it back is a simple procedure. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 05:33, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding TO THE NEW edit

While I have requested the contributor who deleted my page for guidance, thought of also writing here for help.

Will be great if you can let me know which part on TO THE NEW page was advertising so that it can be altered and we can revive the page. The goal was and is to keep the page informative and that's why more than 20 external news links were used to source the content. It's competitors have similar pages - Dentsu and GroupM

Any help will be really appreciated as I am still a novice with wiki. Looking forward to your guidance on my talk page . Cheers! Irfan E Khan (talk) 05:29, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Irfan E Khan- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. I guess, you're late to ask your question to us as your submission has been deleted by an administrator on 14 March 2014 under WP:CSD#G11 criteria (Unambiguous advertising or promotion) of speedy deletion. Now what could you do, is to request deleting administrator JamesBWatson to userfy your deleted submission or you can place a request at WP:REFUND#G11. You can also re-create your submission but I will recommend you to have a quick glance of Wikipedia policy and guidelines, particularly Wikipedia neutral point of view policy. i just tried to write a article about myself and it got deleted. how can i write an article about myself? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sid28091996 (talkcontribs) 18:02, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Facebook is a great place to write an article about yourself! --Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:02, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Sid28091996- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. Writing an autobiography is highly discouraged. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. You are advised to place a request at request "Requested Articles" instead. If you still want to create an article on yourself please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia conflict of interest policy and Wikipedia neutral point of view policy. See, WP:Your first article and Wp:Writing better articles. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 00:19, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, my article was recently declined. I have revised the References and External links sections, and I would appreciate any comments you could provide before I resubmit the article. In my possession are several old documents that confirms the contents in the article, especially "Herald & News" and "Music Guide," but none of the materials have been publicly archived in any format, however, it is factual therefore I have included the information in the article. The title of the submission is Redirected from Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Draft talk:Greg McKenzie. Thank you for your assistance.Musicalind (talk) 22:53, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note: submission is at Draft:Greg McKenzie. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:04, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Musicalind- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. I just visited your submission page (Greg McKenzie) and found that most of the sources are offline sources. I'm afraid that it might cause a significant amount of time, a little more than normal, before someone review your submission page to verify the content of the submission page using the references cited. Please submit your submission page clicking "Re-submit" or putting {{subst:submit}} at top of the submission page. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 00:27, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
