Sir i'm doing this because i'm a student and i'm with the help of this article put my all experiance of life that how the grooming of student actually done by the Teacher and parents that's lead to the development of a nation. What are the mistakes of Teachers and parents due to which a student is unable to lead a nation or either his family . - Adil mumtaz Abbasi, the topic you propose, How_Can_We_Generate_The_New_Generation_of_a_Nation, is simply not an encyclopedic topic. Encyclopedias do not contain articles that make suggestions, argue cases, present opinions, etc. By all means, write such an article for a newspaper's editorial section, or put it up on a blogging site, but Wikipedia absolutely does not publish on topics such as you propose. The draft about the artist Royal Nebeker contains a quote the artist told the Huffington Post and a link to an image of one of his paintings also at Huffington Post. Is the copyright concern just with the painting link? (How do you delete an image suggestion, I built this in a sandbox)
Or is the quote also a problem? (it's cited and I did not use any of the author's words, only the words spoken by the artist). thanks! Derbinator Derbinator (talk) 15:42, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
- I don't see any copyright concerns with the text of that article, and I'm not sure why User:Hasteur flagged it as such. The image taken by the Huffington post cannot be used, but that shouldn't have been grounds for declining the article. I've gone ahead and done some minor cleanup and approved the article. --Ahecht (TALK
PAGE) 16:21, 15 December 2014 (UTC)- @Ahecht: Ok, when the article gets nominated for AFD/CSD because of copyright voplations [1] don't come crying to me. The direct quote and the minimal paraphrasing around the quote were enough to tip the scales in favor of declining the submission on CopyVio groupnds as opposed to full blanking/CSDing it myself.
