February 21

edit

Some of my references which are duplicates cited via the ref name tag are showing as duplicate references in my ref list (i.e. reference 2 & 10, which should be the same). I'm sure it's just a minor error in my coding but I can't see where.

I fixed the problem (you can see my work here). What had happened is that you had put in a name parameter, which isn't recognized by the system. I changed those to the ref name system which you had tried to use. Leave a note if there's anything else we can do for you :) Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:45, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, you're in the wrong place...perhaps Bacardi's website? Nolelover Talk·Contribs 13:51, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just wonder if my explanation was sufficient and I can expect the article to be posted any time soon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biuroat (talkcontribs) 14:16, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission was declined because of a lack of reliable, independent sources, which all articles must have. Please add those and resubmit. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:52, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, The above article was rejected by a reviewer without any comment whatsoever. I am asked to improve it but no hint in which respect... Could you help? Thanks in advance — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sergey69 (talkcontribs) 14:25, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that. A newer editor declined it, and I have undone his decline. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:49, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I accepted the submission. ;-) mabdul 16:10, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Whos Samuel De Champlains family — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.237.235.182 (talk) 17:23, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should ask at the reference desk, although you could probably start at Samuel De Champlain. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 17:34, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2 things

Ok. I made an account, but the word barf was in my name (BarferBoy), and they blocked it, so I made another. Is there a way to either unblock that or delete it? Also I submitted an article, but don't have much on it. Is there a way to submit it for other people to edit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by T11ld3000 (talkcontribs) 17:33, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's nothing you can do to your old account, but don't worry, it won't affect you any. I think you're talking about Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Creeper (Minecraft), right? Great game, isn't it? Unfortunately, Wikipedia can't have an article on creepers because there aren't any reliable sources about it. However, if you do like writing about Minecraft you can always go to the Minecraft Wiki. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 17:43, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Short of a signed affidavit from God I have no idea what you might consider reliable and notable sources: they are all there, quoted. We may sue the other band instead, for infringement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.193.210.72 (talk) 18:14, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the article looks okay- let me format and accept it. A412 (TalkC) 23:34, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
