This is a subpage of the assessment department of WikiProject Anime and manga. This department focuses on assessing the quality of Wikipedia's Anime and manga articles. While much of the work is done in conjunction with the WP:1.0 program, the article ratings are also used within the project itself to aid in recognizing excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work.

The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{WikiProject Anime and manga}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in the appropriate sub-categories of Category:Anime and manga articles by quality, which serves as the foundation for an automatically generated worklist. This page provides a list of articles that should be assessed in terms of quality and importance as part of the 2008 assessment drive.

Instructions

For each article:

• Read the article. Then:

1. Check that it's within WikiProject Anime and manga's scope.
2. Check that the class is correctly assessed.
3. Add missing workgroup parameters.
4. Mark articles that require critical cleanup for urgent attention by setting |attention=yes.
5. Mark articles that should be followed up for merging by setting |merge=yes.
   New! NB: Tag or assess redirects with |class=Redirect.

Completed ranges

• After completing each 10-article range, either strike through the article name (with "<s>" and "</s>") or add "Done, ~~~~" at the foot of the section.

Assessment help

• For general assessment help, see general assessment FAQ.
• For the formal Stub, Start-class and B-Class criteria, see the project's assessment guidelines.
• For the formal priority criteria, see the project's priority scale.
• Set |class=C if an article is C-Class. Set |class=B if and only if an article meets the majority of the B-Class criteria.
• The template accepts B-Class short forms – |B1=y, |B2=n etc. Please set add and set these parameters for all C-class and B-class articles.
• If all six B-class parameters are not "Yes", the template automatically sets "class=C".
